Weight -  20 lbs 1 oz (15%)
HC:  47 1/4 " (75%)

At twelve months, Jordan ventured off to Washington D.C. with Daddy's side of the family (Ogo, Grandma, cousins, Unce Jeff and Aunt Tammy).  He saw all the monuments, went to a bunch of museums, the zoo, and has really begun to walk on his own without us coaxing him!  He still won't drink a lot of water, but has begun to mimic our words and seems to understand bedtime and naptime as he goes down without a fight.  He is talking a lot, pointing with his little fingers, and throwing everything on the ground (fun activity son *sarcasm).  He can go to sleep without much resistance, but has woken up a few times in the middle of the night, angry, only wanting to sleep in mom and dad's room (teething or just spoiled?).  He loves the pool and loves helping Mommy and Daddy with all the packing and preparations for moving.  It's a little one year old's dream come true!  Walking super fast with each passing week and is starting to let his t-rex defense catch me if I fall hands start to rest on his sides. Talks into the phone and loves walking around with the phone, gabbing jibberish into it.  Loves taking Andy's old Sprint HTC Mobile, closes it, and then hands it to us, waiting for us to slide it open for him again.  He points to everything he wants, but the funny thing is - sometimes we're not sure what that is.  Still no words yet but a lot of yay or yeas that could mistakenly be him learning to communicate.  He has had a blast with all the moving, but we did have one accident with the bedframe falling on him - after crying for 2 minutes, he was laughing and playing ont he slide we created from the mattress and couch.  He is really a little boy, all on his own now - flew again with Mommy alone to Spokane through Oakland, exercised by pushing the window cover up and down for half an hour, then fell asleep eating.  Still hates getting his diaper changed, will roll around, and seems to know shoes on means it's time to go out and play.  Will yell at the door if we come home without Andy and he knows he's still outside.

11 Months - April

No stats.

At eleven months, Jordan is still weary of walking.  He can take a few steps, but prefers not to - and will still crawl given the chance.  He's very good with his walker now, will try to push a lot of things, but as for walking, he only does it if he's distracted and holding something.  We have a very risk averse baby here.  Jordan began the month by heading off to Santa Barbara for Conference weekend with wai-puo and wai-gong, and the entire Lee side of wai-puo's family.  There, Jordan experienced the high life in a hot tub jaccuzi.  He also played with his second cousins Aidan, 2, and Abby, 4 and had his Chinese zhua zhou where he picked a calculator, and then money.  He was given a big cupcake smash cake, but he chose to touch it slightly and then crawled off uninterested.  Mid-April, Daddy's college buddies came for a big LA Reunion, and he got to play with his buddies for life, the A Team, Jaxson and Eliot, who are both about 5 months younger than him.  A lot of visits were made with the Reunion Gang, and Jordan continues to eat more human food.  He loves oranges, strawberries, pineapple, noodles, chicken nuggets, dumplings, any Chinese food, chopsticks, spoons, soup, and only wants his milk if he's really hungry.  Mom and dad are struggling to get Jordan to eat more.  At the end of the month, Jordan went to Washington D.C. for his one year birthday with Ogo, Grandma, Aunt Tammy, Uncle Jeff, and cousins Violet, 2, and Sophie, 4.  He is absolutely loving other kids and can hold his own when the big kids try to push him around.  Still no words, just a lot of babbling, and still sleeping 11-12 hours a night, but not without a fight first (lots of crying).

10 Months - March
Height -  30"
Weight -  19 lbs 3oz
HC:  ?

At ten months, Jordan is on the move!  He has had an insane month - starting with Match Day and his cousins, Sophie, 4 and Violet, 2, coming to visit and another visit from Grandma too!  He has been standing up a lot and showing signs of walking interests vaguely (he still would rather crawl since he can do it so fast).  He also had his first trip to the ER due to an interssusception and an IV through his tiny hands =(.  It was probably harder for mom and dad after the procedure was done and we couldn't feed him until later that night.  He isn't a fan of eating unless it's different things but he has shown more interest in eating with us as he gets bites of our food as well.  He still doesn't drink a lot of water so Mom and Dad have been trying everything from smoothies to juices. He's recently enjoyed banging on pots with big ladles and spoons, playing with the pie tins, and has learned to take a few steps, but is very cautious.  He can take about 7-10 steps at most, and walks very well with one hand held.  He still crawls very fast and when he finds his walking is too slow, he'll plop down and take off.  He makes lots of sounds, still says da-da-da and ma-ma-ma and coos but has not said any word besides "yeah."

9 Months - February
Height - 28.5 "
Weight - 18 lbs 1.5 oz
HC: 46 cm

At 9 months, Jordan is all over the place!  He loves his new walker toy (which Daddy bought with Chinese New Year money), and will spring for the door when he sees it open, curious if he can go for a walk. He likes to bop his head up and down when he goes for walks with it, saying da da da.  Everything still goes directly into his mouth and he loves the piano.  Music is great.  He also loves his toys that make music and the swings are still fun.  Daddy recently busted out the hiking backpack and Jordan has enjoyed many a walks with Daddy.  Daddy also introduced the golf putter which Jordan loves to play with, and for a while, golf balls were the new thing, but he quickly decided just the golf clubs were more fun.  Two teeth on top came in this month and Grandma came to visit at the end of the month, at which point, Mommy and Grandma bought an organic (and very expensive) premade formula from Earth's Best that Jordan actually took!  No more boob for this baby.

8 Months - January
Height -

At 8 months, Jordan is pretty mellow.  He hates the Pack n Play and has had a hard time sleeping up North where we visited the McKissicks for a few weeks starting from New Year's.  We also ventured off to Arizona again for Jordan's 9 month photos and for the most part, life has been a lot of really big blowouts (still lots of baby food with some adult food and lots of milk still).  Chinese New Year's with mom's side of the family was fun in Rowland Heights, and for the first time, Mom left Jordan for an entire day to go to a Power of Moms Conference.  Jordan continues to love putting anything and everything in his mouth, loves going for walks, likes playing with non-toys and toys, and really likes his red envelope lucky Chinese money.

7 Months - December
Height - 28"
Weight - 17.5 lbs
HC: ?

At seven months, Jordan is loving life.  There is just so much around him to explore and in the beginning of December, he mastered the crawl.  He's still a little slow with the crawling, but he's got it and the world is his oyster.  He got another tooth and is continuing to explore with sounds and words but is giggling a lot more.  He loves to play this game with Andy where he crawls and Andy crawls and then he chases after Andy and vice versa.  He also loves straws and spoons and these keep him occupied at restaurants - has been a frequent baby at Ding Tai Fong where I frequent with my mom often.  Began eating a lot of Wai Puo's homemade fish and rice mush and is loving the fact that he can pull himself up on everything.

6 Months - November
Height - 27 1/2" (90%)
Weight - 16 lbs 15.5oz (50%)
HC: 44.5 cm (75%)

At six months, Jordan is moving!  He began army crawling and that has consumed his life.  For Thanksgiving, we were with Andy's family up north and he got to use a walker for the first time and also sits up pretty nicely on his own on different car toys.  He can pull himself up and likes to lean on things, is standing quite well but still doesn't move while holding onto anything in his standing position.  Andy began to travel a lot for residency interviews so it was just Jordan and me for a lot of the time, but he was so easy to take care of and just so happy.  It's normal for me to plop him in the baby bouncer and put on Baby  If there's one word to describe our little Jordan, it's a happy and skinny boy.

5 Months - October
Height - 26 3/4" (90%)
Weight - 16 lbs 8oz (60%)
HC: 44 cm (75%)

At five months, Jordan doesn't look that different from four months!  He's begun eating solids but most of it is pretty watery and nothing he has to chew yet.  He can now sit up on his own without toppling over!  For now, the rolling over gets Jordan wherever he wants to go.  If he wants something to put into his mouth (which is about everything), he will roll to get there.  He can't be on the bed by himself anymore, still enjoys his stomach but likes rolling over more than anything.  Dressed up as a sushi for Halloween with us, is still very happy and coos to himself when he wakes up.

4 Months - September
Height - 26 1/4" (90%)
Weight - 15 lbs 13oz (75%)
HC: 43 cm (75%)

At four months, Jordan made his first airplane trip to Florida for Universal Studios and Harry Potter world followed by a week in Utah with Grandma, OGO and the rest of Andy's extended family.  His neck is getting stronger, he still spits up a lot, and he got one double eyelid.  He loves going outside and if you lean him against something, he can sit up on his own.  Toward the end of the month, he began noticing when we counted 1-2-3 and pulling him up and contributed to us doing so, what a smart boy!  In Utah, we gave him his first taste of solid food, some rice cereal mixed with milk.  He didn't seem too interested, but it's the beginning of solids for this big boy!  He sleeps well at night but doesn't quite enjoy naptime during the day.  When we swaddle him, he goes down pretty happily but there have been glimpses of resistance starting with our trips.  He has begun to break out of his swaddles but still looks so relieved when we swaddle him for nighttime.  He is smiling a lot more and you can get some big smiles out of him if you say the right things or play peek-a-boo with him.  Still loves the Wheels on the Bus song.  Got his first tooth on September 14th, but then it disappeared!  Stuck out his tongue and rolled from back to stomach.

3 Months - August
Height - 25 1/4" (90%)
Weight - 14 lbs 10.5oz (75%)
HC: 42 cm (75%)

At three months, Jordan is smiling a lot more!  He still loves bobbing his head during tummy time, and will sit on the bed for long periods of time on his tummy just bobbing his head and looking at the world around him.  I can put him there comfortably without worrying he will topple over as he still hasn't quite figured out how to turn from his stomach to his back.  At the end of August, we went to Disneyland's Club 33 and he was absolutely enthralled.  He would barely eat, always wanted to look around, and became slightly dehydrated in the afternoon.  I finally just up and took him to the restroom where I could feed him without worrying about the covers.  He still coos on his own in the morning and seems pretty content to be swaddled.  We also took him to Arizona for three month photos and to visit friends.  We were able to get some smiles from him but they were here and there.  He'd rather just bob his head on his tummy.  He found the couch and leaned against it, very pleased with his head bobbing while doing so.  He still won't take the bottle and our trip was rather long because of that.  Still loves Wheels on the Bus.

6 Weeks - June to July
Height - 23" (75%)
Weight - 11 lbs 12.5 oz (50%)
HC: 39 cm (50%)

At six weeks, Jordan is still pooping a lot and sleeping a lot.  We've learned what real blowouts are, seen his eyes open more when he's awake, but overall... still sleeping a lot and still super small.  He loves tummy time, and kind of just grunts and drools on daddy while he's doing tummy time on him.  He tilts his head to one side while getting a bath, still has very to little neck strength but does okay with the wannabe bumbo or if he's on someone's stomach.  We had his baby blessing at one month and a traditional Chinese celebration dinner as well.  He loves his swaddle, won't take a pacifier, and loves the boob.  He is still very much baby and still wearing all of his newborn clothes.   He sleeps on the bed next to me while I am on the computer and seems relieved when we swaddle him at night.  He normally sleeps at 10 PM and gets up around 7 AM with one interruption at night.  Loves the Wheels on the Bus song which seems to comfort him when he's unhappy.

2 Weeks - May 19th
Height - 21" (75%)
Weight - 8 lbs 10.5 oz (75%)
HC: 37 1/4 cm (75%)

At two weeks, Jordan poops way too much.  Everytime we change his diaper (everytime he is feeding - which is every 2-3 hours).  I watch Hulu while I feed him, or browse facebook, because if I go to sleep, it is stime to wake up again when he's ready to eat next.  He loves tummy time, spits up a lot (we go through 3-5 outfits a day), and has hiccuped (it's so cute!).  He loves to sleep with his hands by his face, is still too small even for newborn clothes, and we've glimpsed some smiles while he's sleeping.  He sleeps a lot in his carseat with the owl cover over it, does well at Church, has been to a rooftop Manhattan Beach party at Shade Hotel, and to the newly renovated Santa Monica Place.  He goes on walks with Grandma and mommy and falls asleep in the Bjorn facing in.

0 Weeks - April 30th
Height - 20"
Weight - 6 lbs 15 oz
